DeMons. Few think of us just as another NFT- maker. Some know us to be a remarkable phenomenon, while the masses are yet to experience the wonders we create.
It is one of those blogs where we introduce ourselves to those who haven’t had the fortune to join us as we reinvent NFTs.
As NFTs debuted in the market, many felt compelled to release their NFTs. And since then, NFTs are now being generated using computer algorithms. But, the DeMons Metaverse houses hand-drawn artwork specimens, each having a unique history.
In the Zilliqa Metaverse, the Zilliqa blockchain shards started colliding furiously. Suddenly, an explosion of the scale of the Big bang occurred. And DeMons were born. Each DeMon has a story and is a part of the Zilliqa Metaverse.
Started Demons? But, why? NFTs are marketable because of their rarity, but that rarity is defined by their makers. This makes them a one-time deal. According to a rough estimate, most NFTs are expected to lose their value in the next 5 years if all they do is sit inside your wallet.
But isn’t this all that is to NFTs? No! We understood that and wanted to revolutionize the NFTs beyond their current scope. Our NFTs have two-layered scarcity: a set of traits to provide basic advice to the customer, thereby giving rise to many implicit traits that are unaccounted for. Exciting!

How are we different from the rest?
While most NFTs available in the market are rare collectibles, our NFTs are unrivalled as they can be personalised, levelled up, and traded in our marketplace. DeMons’ NFTs see an upsurge in their value as they are scarce, with only 666 of them ever minted, and their utility in generating DMZs (the DeMons governance token).
We, and by extension our NFTs, are highly community-driven. We operate on the notion “You ask, we deliver.” We always try our best to take your suggestions and feedback into consideration.
We are delighted to share that we improvised our sales model before the third sale based on the feedback we received from the community. Another noteworthy point is that, while the NFT marketplace generally operates on a parabolic price curve, we revise our plans according to the community’s needs. We consistently endeavour to offer something that our competitors do not. A notable instance of this would be our Voting Portal.
More often than not, we have not one but a list of our favourite items. Our Voting Portal will allow you to express more than simply your favourite choice. You get a set number of credits (based on the level of the NFT and the number of DMZs you hold) you can use to vote across multiple NFTs. You can choose to upvote the NFTs you favour and downvote those you do not fancy.
People wonder if our eccentricities and the benefits they offer would die down in the long run. But folks! You could not be more wrong! We have made provisions of not letting the demons be as dead as a dodo while they reside in your wallets.
One of the intriguing things in the pipeline for us and you is the gamification of our NFTs. You can use our NFTs as an Avatar in the game, level them up using $DMZs, and add your personal touch to them. You get an increased valuation of your demons with additional perks and benefits.
The idea of gamification does not end here. We plan to gamify the Voting Portal and call it the Devil’s Court. As much as we would love to, we cannot spill all the beans.
